  Hailed as the world's smallest Catholic church, St. Martin is a interesting roadside site that's worth a stop for those unconstrained by time. The building is often open and able to be explored. While unspectacular, the interior is interesting just the same.

  This place is lovely. You just pull off the road (or, drive by it and double back, like we seem to do every single time), unlatch the gate, unlatch the door, and there you are. There's something restful about the church itself and it's interesting to wander around the graveyard too. We've taken many different friends here and everyone has enjoyed it, but possibly the most taken with it was a friend's five-year-old, who kept wanting to go inside and sit down quietly. Quaint and charming :)
